Advantages:

? not sensitive to vibration and other mechanical shock around

? sensitive for response to the small unbalance

? electric sensors, stable performance and can be used for a long time

? separation is also good even for short rotor plane

? accurate calibration of different deweighting methods (drilling depth, milling, etc.)

Disadvantages:

? need actual calibration

? has a limit on overweight measurement

? complex structure design

? high measuring speed, measuring time is long
